Avery, Vanessa, Arlo, and Mylee — Congratulations on stepping into your new roles! We are so proud of you and so excited for everything you’ll accomplish in the year ahead. As the new leaders of the Publications Group, you’re taking on a responsibility that’s as rewarding as it is challenging. From print deadlines to layout chaos, from interviewing sources to editing late into the night—every part of this work matters. And we’ve seen firsthand that each of you brings something essential to the table.
Avery, your steady presence and thoughtful editing will ground the Group in clarity and quality. Vanessa, your creative spark and attention to design will keep every spread compelling and beautiful. Arlo, your dynamic graphics have brought stories to life in ways that words alone never could—your eye for visual storytelling will continue to elevate everything Pub produces. And Mylee, your energy, humor, and knack for building community will bring the team together when it matters most.
We’ve watched you grow into these roles, and now it’s your time to lead—with confidence, curiosity, and care. You’ve got big shoes to fill—but we know you’ll play your cards right and in your own way.
Ms. Robison, thank you for another unforgettable year. Your guidance, support, and unwavering belief in student voices have shaped each of us more than words can express. You’ve created a space where we could take risks, push ourselves, and grow—not just as journalists, but as people. Thank you for seeing us through every late-night final edit, every story idea that almost got cut, every moment we doubted ourselves. Your leadership makes this Group what it is.
As we look back, we’re filled with gratitude—for the deadlines, the laughter, and the pride of hitting “publish” or sending a yearbook off to print. Together, we created something lasting. Now it’s your turn.
Lead boldly. Collaborate generously. And never forget how much your voice—and your work—can mean.
We’ll be reading every issue of the Chronicle. You’ve got this.
With admiration,
Caroline, Paige, Ben, and Jackson CHS Publications Editors, 2024–2025
