Cole Slette

A dedicated soccer player and hard-working senior, Cole Slette is continuously pushing himself to improve. Whether it is on the field or in class, Cole always gives it his best. In soccer, his determination and competitiveness make him a valuable player and in class, he is responsible and someone his peers can look up to.   

“One thing I really like about Cole is he’s really competitive. When he’s out on the field, you know everyone wants to play harder,” explained Cole’s soccer coach, Mr. Sandoval.  

Cole’s presence raises the energy and determination of the entire team. This motivation not only benefits him but also inspires his teammates to give their best effort on the field.  

“I admire his strong work ethic and his determination to reach his goals and his mentality that helps him conquer any roadblock,” stated Ben Jerome (12) friend and teammate.  

Cole has shown consistent growth and improvement as an athlete. “I remember him coming in his freshman year, obviously as a freshman he’s a little more quiet and to himself so the big progress he has made over the years is the way he connects with everyone, he’s well-liked by other students,” said Sandoval. Over time, Cole has developed not only his soccer skills but also his leadership and friendships with his teammates.  

It is clear how much effort Cole has put into becoming a better player since freshman year. Now, as a senior, his hard work and status as a varsity starter all four years of high school have led him to be a varsity captain. 

Beyond his reputation in the field, Cole also shows discipline and dedication in class.

“I'd like to say that Cole is a student that his peers should look up to, he takes everything with a smile and is not afraid to work hard even if it’s down to the wire,” explained Jerome.   

Cole Slette is more than just a talented athlete; he is a hardworking individual who continuously strives to improve. His determination, competitiveness, and dedication make him a standout player and an inspiration to those around him.
