Senior in The Spotlight: Scott Lindsay

Executive President, Varsity Golf Captain, Homecoming King part-time Lifeguard, babysitter, snowblower and Cascade High School student, Scott Lindsay is a go-getter who does it all with a smile on his face. Scott is a dedicated leader, has a great work ethic, and is an extremely positive person that sets an excellent example for every Cascade High School student.

Scott Lindsay, a four-year student at Cascade High School has become a prominent leader. “Scott Lindsay is a great leader, I don’t even know how to describe him, he’s humble and responsible, a great speaker and is the best role model for all students here,” said Ms. Karen Feliciano, CHS Registrar/Secretary. Scott's leadership affects every student whether it is encouraging people to go to sports games, reading the daily announcements over the intercom or helping to organize school events.

“I think that Scott has a great work ethic, and ability to see the bigger picture. Seeing and knowing what kids want and need, but also having the work ethic to follow through and execute some plans to help the student body,” said Assistant Principal Ms. Annika Bibby.

Taking on the role of being the Executive President of Cascade High School as well as being a student, puts into perspective how incredible Scott’s work ethic is. “I think that Scott has a great work ethic, and ability to see the bigger picture. Seeing and knowing what kids want and need, but also having the work ethic to follow through and execute some plans to help the student body,” said Assistant Principal Ms. Annika Bibby. Using this work ethic, Scott has taken on many difficult classes including Publications, UW Planets, EWU English 4 and EWU Leadership and has earned multiple college credits.

Along with Scott’s stellar leadership and great work ethic, he is a uniquely positive person who is kind to everyone. “I like him. He seems like a really nice guy; I don’t see a world where anyone couldn’t like him, he is a great leader for our school,” said Melvin Northrup (11). Scott Lindsay is truly loved at CHS by students and staff. “Scott is genuine and overall, just an excellent human being that is a positive role model for kids at Cascade High School,” said Mr. Rudy Joya, CHS Principal.

Scott Lindsay is a hard worker, a quality leader, a positive person, and the best role model for any student trying to improve themselves.
