Brendan Fallon is a hardworking and respected member of Cascade High School. Fallon is known to be a driven individual who illustrates what it's like to work for what you have.
Throughout Brendan's years at CHS, he has participated in numerous sports and activities as well as been a leader and a friend to many. In Brendan's free time he enjoys anything outside, being with friends, and trying new things. Some of his favorite hobbies are kayaking, skiing, and art. Brendan has grown up and flourished in the Cascade School District, participating in club sports since he was a youngster. Brendan grew up skiing at Ski Hill, swimming for Leavenworth swim team and riding bikes for Icicle Bicycle club.
Brendan has recently left us at Cascade High School to participate in an alternative education program where the focus is kayaking. This program includes two months in South America as well as two months in Europe. Although Brendan has left recently, he will make it back in time to graduate with his fellow classmates at Cascade. “It's sad that he had to leave, but what he is doing is also really cool. I'm glad that he is going to come back in time to graduate with us and I honestly can't wait to hear the stories that he has to tell. I really miss him,” said Antonio Aurillio(12).
At Cascade High School Brendan was an academic leader, taking all the college credit courses that are offered and earning good grades in them, as well as participating in the Sustainability Club and Climbing Club. “Brendan Fallon is always on time, he is punctual and gets good grades, that’s all-a vice principal can ask for,” said CHS Vice Principal Anika Bibby.
Brendan's hard work ethic shines through as he is known to be a good source of information among students and a respectful young man amongst the teachers. “Brenden is a talented writer, a deep thinker, and a dependable student,” said Ms. Robison, who taught Brendan in English and Publications classes at CHS. “He is kind to his peers and incredibly respectful to the staff at CHS. He genuinely cares about the quality of his work and the depth of education that he is receiving. He is incredibly well rounded and has a great head on his shoulders. I have no doubt that he will do great things in our world,” said Robison.
“Brendan is always trying new things and thinking outside the box. He is super respectful and although he doesn’t say much when he does it’s always meaningful,” said CHS Principal Rudy Joya.
Brendan's hardworking and enjoyable personality is not only enjoyed in the classroom, but also on the field. Brendan has participated in high school soccer, playing at the varsity level for three years, and cross country, where he lettered all four years. Brendan is a respected student athlete and is sure to be missed on the soccer field this spring. “Brendan's absence will be felt, he was a team leader and new how to get everyone motivated. Brendan was always positive even when we were losing, he would always get everyone to play their best and would never put anyone down,” said fellow senior and varsity soccer player Fernando Tovar.
Brendan's absence is already felt at Cascade High School and people are already talking about when he will be coming back. Brendan's plans for the future are still up in the air, but he knows he wants to attend a four-year college and get a bachelor's degree. Brendan is a hardworking and kind individual who is sure to be missed next year.
