Giselle Navarro is a hardworking and dedicated Cascade High School senior. Over the years Giselle has been part of many clubs, sports and her community. Giselle played softball and volleyball all four years of her high school career. Giselle is involved with ASB and Interact Club; she is an ASB Rep for the 2023 senior class and attends the meetings. “Giselle is wonderful, Giselle has a really big heart. She is a very empathetic person; she's also, at this point in her high school career, very focused on what she wants from her future. She's a really nice student and cares a lot about people and cares a lot about her future and doing what it takes to secure that future,” said Mrs. Robinson, a teacher at CHS.

“I feel like I have seen her grow a lot, she has always been a super funny, humors person and I think I have seen her grow into more of a serious person. She has more goals and high standers for herself. She has had a huge impact, especially here at CHS; she is very involved through ASB, and a lot of teachers and students know her as a very bubbly person, she has made a very big impact at our school." - Vanessa West.

Giselle works very hard in all her classes so she can achieve her future. She's also a great friend and student, she's empathetic and caring for the people around her. Giselle will be attending Eastern Washington University. “I think I'm like 80% excited and 20% sad to be leaving,” said Navarro. Throughout Giselle’s school career she has learned the skills that she will use to be effective for whatever career she chooses. “She has figured out what she wants to do with her life, which is really beautiful. She wants to be a social worker. She’s made progress on her own social and emotional health and to see it make her a happier person and for her to want to pass that on to others, it's a really beautiful thing,” said Mrs. Robinson.

Giselle loves to help those around her and her community, she is part of the Interact Club and she is always ready to help in any way she can. Giselle is also part of Leadership; she is very creative and always has another idea when something doesn't work. She can always bring a smile to everyone's face, even in a busy work environment. “I feel like I have seen her grow a lot, she has always been a super funny, humors person and I think I have seen her grow into more of a serious person. She has more goals and high standers for herself. She has had a huge impact, especially here at CHS; she is very involved through ASB, and a lot of teachers and students know her as a very bubbly person, she has made a very big impact at our school,” said Vanessa West.

“I have had Giselle in Intro to Health Careers and I've had Giselle in multiple classes, as the most recent one Intro to Health Careers. Giselle is always fun to have in class and she makes learning fun, she always finds a way to make everything fun and silly, which she is still staying engaged with the content, so it does make it more fun and more entertaining. She's always a good source of entertainment for better or for worse. Giselle has been really fun to get to know over the years and she'll be missed when she graduates,” said Mr. Betz, a teacher at CHS.

Giselle has made a beautiful and positive impact in her classes, her friends, and in her school. Over the course of Giselle's high school career, she has taken part in many clubs, activities and classes; she has also figured out what she wants to do in her future and how she wants to help others. Giselle is very kind and caring and wants to give that back to the world, she will make a positive and impactful difference in our world. “I think one of my favorite memories was my ASL (American Sign Language) class, that whole class was super fun and nice, but we still learned at the same time. I think one of my favorite classes was astronomy, it was really cool to learn about and Mr. Massey is a good teacher,” said Navarro.
